Before committing to a conference sponsorship, the data points that matter most:

  • Speaker seniority mix — More C-level and VP speakers means more decision-makers in the audience. Practitioner-heavy events attract buyers earlier in their career.
  • Repeat sponsors — Companies don't keep sponsoring conferences that don't work. If you see 5+ sponsors who've been there for 3+ years, the event has proven ROI for at least one business model adjacent to yours.
  • Target account presence — Are companies from your ICP in the speaker roster? Speakers' companies tend to send significant delegations. If your top 10 prospects have speakers at a conference, their teams are in the room.
  • Session topics — Sessions tell you what the audience cares about this year. If your product solves a problem that's showing up in session titles, the timing is right.
